Instructions:
- Wash and dry mushrooms. Thinly slice mushrooms and season with salt and pepper. Heat up the pan to medium-high heat and add 1 tsp of butter. Once butter is melted and bubbling, add sliced mushrooms. Cook until softened (3-4 minutes) then remove from pan.
- In a medium bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, a large pinch of salt, and desired amount of pepper. Divide your ground beef into 4 portions and form into patties.
- In the same pan used for the mushrooms, add a drizzle of olive oil. Place your burgers in the pan, flattening them with a spatula or fork. Cook 3-4 minutes each side until cooked through.
- While burgers are still in the pan, add your sliced swiss cheese on the burger patties and remove once cheese is melted.
- (Optional) Wipe out the pan used for burgers and mushrooms. Toast your brioche buns in the pan.
- Place patties with melted cheese on your brioche bun. Top with sauteed mushrooms and your favorite sauce. Serve, and enjoy!
